Attorney Mert Veysel Yılmaz is the founding attorney of Yilmaz Attorneys, established in Antalya in 2018. Registered with the Antalya Bar Association under registration no. 5241, he has counseled more than 400 clients from over 40 countries across citizenship, immigration, corporate, property, and litigation matters under Turkish law.

Before founding the firm, Attorney Yılmaz served as Head of Civil Litigation at Kıyak Attorneys in Antalya, where he oversaw 300+ cases and led a team of attorneys and trainees. He also served as Deputy Advisor at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (TBMM), where he drafted legislative proposals and advised on legal and media affairs.

Attorney Yılmaz holds a law degree from Ankara University (2015), a Master of Laws in Human Rights Law from Istanbul Bilgi University (2022), and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Law and Technology at Tilburg University in the Netherlands (2025–2026). He is expanding the firm’s services to include EU and Dutch compliance and immigration law.

What sets Attorney Yılmaz apart is his cross-disciplinary background. Between 2022 and 2024, he worked as a Project Manager at Microsoft and Telescope Labs, leading product and engineering teams. This experience in the technology sector gives him a distinctive edge in understanding the needs of tech companies, startups, and digital businesses entering the Turkish market.

He is also the co-founder of Emsal AI, a legal technology venture, reflecting his commitment to modernising the practice of law through innovation.

Attorney Yılmaz practices across the firm's full range of services — including citizenship, immigration, corporate counseling, civil and criminal litigation, property law, family law, and inheritance — and brings particular depth to international arbitration, mediation, and cross-border corporate matters. He is fluent in Turkish and English.
